Function: Anti-rotation plastic cylinders connect directly to the implant and provide an indexed, non-rotating interface for screw-retained restorations. They are used in conventional laboratory workflows where the technician waxes up the restoration over the cylinder and casts or presses the final restoration. The gold and CoCr variants provide a metal base for cast metal or metal-ceramic restorations, while the plastic variants are used for all-ceramic or direct resin restorations. Wide profile variants offer a broader emergence for posterior restorations.
