Function:

The Super Line cover screw is threaded directly into the implant body immediately after placement in a two-stage submerged protocol. It seals the internal connection flush with or just below the crestal bone, preventing soft tissue ingrowth, bone debris, and bacterial contamination from entering the implant during the osseointegration period. The cover screw is removed at second-stage surgery and replaced with a healing abutment to initiate soft tissue shaping prior to the prosthetic phase. Precision-machined to the exact tolerances of the Super Line internal connection, it provides a reliable, contamination-free seal throughout the healing period.

Indications:

Indicated for use in two-stage submerged implant placement protocols with the Dentium Super Line implant system. Remove at second-stage surgery once osseointegration is confirmed. Follow Dentium torque specifications for cover screw seating to ensure a secure seal without over-torquing.
