Bone level ball abutment for the Dentium implant system, designed for use in implant-retained overdenture cases where a ball-and-socket retention mechanism provides reliable, patient-removable prosthetic retention.

Function:

The ball abutment connects to the bone level implant and presents a precision-machined spherical ball head that engages with a corresponding female socket (O-ring or nylon insert) housed within the overdenture. The ball-and-socket mechanism allows the patient to snap the denture onto the implants for secure retention during function while still enabling easy removal for cleaning. The range of gingival height options (0.5 mm to 5 mm) accommodates varying tissue depths, ensuring the ball head is correctly positioned at the tissue surface regardless of the soft tissue thickness at the implant site.

Indications:

Indicated for implant-retained mandibular or maxillary overdentures requiring ball attachment retention. Select the gingival height variant based on tissue depth to ensure the ball head is correctly positioned. Select the appropriate female socket retention insert based on the desired retention force. Follow Dentium torque specifications for abutment seating.
