Function:

The non-hex transfer impression component connects to the bone level implant and remains in the patient’s mouth when the closed tray is removed. The component is then unscrewed from the implant, repositioned precisely into the impression, and the lab analog is attached before model pouring. The non-hex (non-indexed) connection is typically used for multi-unit bridge cases where rotational orientation is managed at the abutment level rather than the impression stage.

Indications:
