The flat profile implant keeper sits flush at the tissue level, providing a low-profile protective cover over the implant connection during the osseointegration and soft tissue healing phase. Unlike the dome profile, the flat design is preferred in cases with minimal interarch space or where a lower-profile cover is clinically indicated. It shields the internal connection from contamination and bacterial ingress while the peri-implant tissue matures around the implant collar.
